A stroll down Memory Lane... (in 2 parts)

Last month Photobucket trashed the blogs of many of my friends by withdrawing (without notice) support for 3rd party hosting on free accounts. I have spent much time since then copying all my Photobucket images from my computer to my web site's new host server, and modifying thousands of image links on my Cat blog to point to the new locations - a job thankfully now completed. I will not be renewing my 2-year Photobucket subscription when it expires in November 2018!

The bright side is that I rediscovered many favourites in past years, going all the way back to StumbleUpon days in 2007. They were a nice reminder for me, and maybe they will be for other people too. I have added links so that you can click any image to go to the original post, which is sometimes large, and/or see related posts if you happen to be interested.

The following selections start in January this year, and work backwards to 2007 from there. As you can see from the HERE BE TREASURE section in my banner, archive pages 1 to 35 were copied from StumbleUpon during 2011, and mostly don't show the original post dates.

If you would like to skip all this, then (as usual) click the chevrons (>>) below to move on to my next “normal” post
