Moss Park, near Orlando Airport, February 2016

[Florida visit continued from Part 5]

There are many worse ways to end a Florida holiday than some time in Moss Park (map link). It's peaceful, full of birds and wildlife, and on this occasion (perhaps because it was too cool to sit in the shade) we again had the whole place virtually to ourselves!

There is no hint here that only a short drive away is a very busy airport.

Florida's “sugar sand”

There was an amazing variety of bird life circling overhead... this was the only one that settled!

An air plant, spotted by my spouse

An armadillo hole, spotted by my Floridian niece...

...who also spotted this rare visitor
